Ladies Bible Study: Ladies, if you have ever felt you would like to explore the Bible more deeply, you are welcome to join our Ladies Bible Study. We meet weekly during term time on Monday mornings 8:45am-10am in Room 6 at Christ Church. Led by members of the group, with the help of Bible commentaries, we study books of God’s Word in depth together. New members are always welcome. Join us to continue our study of Ezra at 8.45am for 9.00am in Room 6 on Monday 12th January. For more information, contact Rachel Bennett.
Bible Study: What the Bible says about Homosexuality. Beginning Monday 12th January at 8-9.15pm and running for 6 weeks, we will be exploring the 7 passages which explicitly talk about homosexuality. Week 1 will be an introduction, weeks 2-5 diving into the passages, their context, and what different commentators say about these passages.. Week 6 will tie them all together.


Go4Gold The Home of Hope: Friday 16th January@ 1.45pm. Home of Hope, Malawi - Ruth Janes and Gillian Lindley, share news of how things are going at the children’s home in Machinji. No booking needed, you are welcome, just turn up. Suggested donation £1.
Malawi Lunch: Sunday 18th January after the 10.30am service at approx 12.30pm everyone is invited to a free simple baked potato + lunch to hear more about Home of Hope in Malawi. (Donations to the work of Home of Hope are always welcome) It would be good to have some idea of numbers so if you hope to come please sign up on the list next to the church pigeon holes or text Gillian Lindley.
Men’s Social Curry Night: A men’s curry night is planned for the evening of Friday 30th January at 8pm at Deshi Spice at 60 Tavistock Street, Bedford. Final numbers needed by Sunday 25th January to advise the venue. Discipleship for the Workplace: Are you in full-time paid work and interested in thinking about how your faith fits with everyday working life? Sue Marshall will be leading a short, informal course on Discipleship for the Workplace, made up of three sessions (dates and times to be agreed). It will be a chance to chat, share experiences, and reflect together on faith, work, and the challenges we face. Open to anyone curious about living out their faith at work.
