What is happening at Christ Church and beyond
Home Communion: If you, or anyone you know is unable to attend church and would like to receive Home Communion, please contact Vikki Thomas (vicarspa@ccbedford.org) to arrange for someone to visit.
St Albans Diocese Ministry Experience Scheme: This scheme is an opportunity for those aged 18-29 to spend a year growing in ministry and leadership skills through church placements, training and mentoring. Christ Church is hoping to offer placements this coming September (other churches are available!) There are information leaflets available in the Hub or see the link from our website here
Monday Social: From 10am-12 Noon on Mondays, starting 27th July. As the summer holidays arrive if anyone has free space and time, there has been an arrangement made with the Tennis Club on Goldington Road MK40 3EA (opposite Christ Church) to host a place for people to meet up, socialise, have a coffee/snack and spend some time getting to know others from church. Meet in their café - if you would like to join in just come along.
Craft Group: Thursdays 10am-Noon. Interested in sewing or a craft? Bring something with you and join us in room 7 for an informal time of crafting and getting to know others with similar interests.
Go4Gold Film Club: Friday 31st July @ 1.45pm, in church this week). Refreshments (popcorn & ice cream) included. Just turn up if you are free & come & watch a Christian film with others. (Suggested donation £1 to cover refreshment costs).
Ladies Elevenses Time: Saturday 1st August from 10.00am-Noon(ish). Summer Social and crafts morning in Christ Church halls. Light refreshments will be served; donations toward refreshments and craft materials, please.

The Bereavement Journey: Grief is hard. The death of someone close to us can impact all of life. The Bereavement Journey provides a safe place to process loss with the support of others and will run this autumn on Monday evenings starting late September.
